Leasecomm and Coupontainment

I started a business with Coupontainment, a webstore. The business was supposedly given to me for free. I noticed under the package I have, a 400 serach engine submission was part of it. However, I would have to pay for that. If given for free, I shouldn't have to pay. With this business, I have to pay $99.95 for leasing (Leasecomm). At first, I did not want to get in this business, but Coupontainment kept persuading me into the business knowing that I have no job to make the payments (I have been laid off from my job). So, I decided to give a try a month. I advertised my business through emails, free search engine submission (Submit Free) and I received a lot of negative feedback about the business. I was not satisfied. So, I called Coupontainment about shutting the business. They kept telling me to give it another thirty days. They would not shut it down. I called Leasecomm about cancelling the account and they said that I could not cancel the lease because it was not cancellable. I told them that I refuse to continue to make payments and not making any money off the business. They said that the lease has nothing to do with the business. I told them that I have been laid off from my job and I cannot afford to make the payments. The first time I called them, the lady I spoke with is an older lady and she had the galls to tell me to "GO FIND A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!" I told her that it is hard to find a job where everybody is constantly laying off. But, she still wouldn't. I cried throughout the day about this. Since, I am behind, I am now in the collection status and they will call me weekly to try to collect some money from me. With what? I don't have the money. If they cannot get anything from me, they will this case to the courthouse in the MA. Also, in order for me to get out of the lease, I would have to buy out the lease for $1607.17. This is BAD BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!! I refuse to deal with them any longer. Thanks.

Leasecomm

You are not alone. This seems to be Leasecomm's mode of operation. For more information about fighting back please visit http://www.skywebbiz.com/bizbuilders

You can also chat with many others in the same situation at http://www.thecomplaintstation.com under Leasecomm.

There are lot of us who are taking a stand that this type of business is unethical, misrepresentative and deceptive. Anyone in a similar situation who would like to join others who are willing to tell the media please send the following information:

1. your name
2. how to contact you
3. the names of all the companies involved in your situation (Leasecomm, CardServices, Themeware, Medical Billing, etc.)
4. the amount your lease was for (how much money per month for how many months)
5. your location (city/state)

Send the above info to bowmangroup@skybiz.com

Thanks and good luck.

Dear Friends,

I have just read and signed the online petition:

"American victims against Leasecomm"

hosted on the web by PetitionOnline.com, the free online petition
service, at:

http://www.PetitionOnline.com/Stoplc/

I personally agree with what this petition says, and I think you might
agree, too. If you can spare a moment, please take a look, and consider
signing yourself.

Angry Leasecom

I'm in the same boat......I'm Disabled and on a very small pay each week. Leo , the one who signed me up with Coupontainment knew this, and promised I would make all kinds of money. I stupidly signed a three year contract thru him with Leasecom. It was suppose to cost $99 dollars a month, but it has been costing $117.50 per month. Right there, he falsely blew the contract. I got till this December to pay them. My contract ends this December. But I want to go after this outfit and get all my money back somehow. I was glad to see that I'm not the only one who's been scammed. Good Luck to us all. Keep in touch. hopper-b@msn.com.....
